Current Beauty Favorites

Hey guys! I wanted to write about something besides my life this week, so I decided to write my first beauty post!

Just so everyone knows – I don’t wear that much makeup. To be honest I’m a very lazy college student. My normal apparel is leggings, a sweatshirt, and my Nike tennis shoes. However I do at least put on a little make up in the mornings (sometimes I forget to). Anyways here are my current beauty favorites!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream 8-in-1 Skin Perfector    This is my current foundation that I use on a daily basis. I don’t have a lot of acne anymore but I do have a little bit of acne scarring, so this covers them perfectly. I also find that it leaves a nice glow to the skin. It’s perfect for the summer because it has SPF 30 and it is a very light weight foundation. When I had a lot of acne I use to use Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream Skin Clearing Perfector. It didn’t make my face oily. It is still light weight but has a good amount of coverage for a BB cream. 

Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Waterproof Mascara   This is my current favorite mascara. My eyes are very sensitive to make up and it is hard for me to find a mascara that doesn’t make my eyes itch. The Full Lash Bloom mascara though gives great volume to the lashes and it is waterproof (which I like because I cry when I laugh and I laugh a lot). I normally get the very black colour.

E.L.F Clear Brow and Lash Mascara  This is one of my favorite everyday products. I have thick eye brows that can be hard to handle sometimes. I like how this is clear because I can use it on days where I don’t feel like filling in my eyebrows or I can use it on top of when I do. I use E.L.F Eyebrow Kit. I really haven’t tried any other eyebrow products so if you have any suggestions leave them below! By the way you can find these products at Target and I think Wal-Mart too.

Too-Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eyeshadow Palette   Lately I haven’t been wearing a lot of makeup, but when I do this is my go to palette. I love Too-Faced products. I think they have such a high quality and they don’t make my skin break out. I know the brand isn’t cheap but they aren’t expensive. I think they have priced their items well for being a name brand product. Plus you are getting good quality makeup for your money. I love this palette because if I wear makeup I prefer it to be natural looking. I highly recommend this product and the brand.

ULTA Mineral Powder Foundation   I love this powder foundation. I normally put it on top of my bb-cream or I just wear it on its own. It doesn’t cake to your face which is nice and it helps with my oily spots on my face.

ColourPop Highlighter    This is a new find for me. I have never used a highlighter before until I bought this one like a month ago. I like the formula and the colour is amazing. I am still learning how to use it but so far I like it! I don’t use it a lot because it’s just another step that will take more time.

Milani Rose Powder Blush   I lovee this blush. I love the colour and the packaging. It’s cheap but it is of good quality. This is my go to blush (and the only one that I brought to college with me). I highly recommend any of their blushes. You can find them at Target and Meijer I think.
